problem with crc, flash version and mac
Hi, I'm new on this forum.
I have a very big problem and I hope what one person help me.
I have this site with crc application. I use the stratus server.

http://www.onairtube.com/test/onairchat.php

Last week the crc work very well but on monday I update my flash plug-in at version 10.1.102.64 (the last).

So when I try to connect with my mac on this chatroulette the button Preview My Video doesn't work. I click on several ways but it doesn't work.
The button that show the webcam devices shows only a "Isignt integrated".

Another information : when people find my connection, my screen show the flash window (allow / denied) but when I click on Allow my webcam continued to not working (the green light of the cam not appear...and my chatroulette window is all black).

Today I try with another PC and it works but when I update in this PC the flash version IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!

Help me please!!!Sad

RE: problem with crc, flash version and mac
Accessed the link, (used Shockwave Flash 10.1.102.64 latest Flash Player plugin for Firefox and Chrome) and seems that it does not work, at the same time RVC 5.2 works fine ( http://www.jabbercam.com/chatroulette/ ) with the same plugin (Flash Player).

I see that you modified the scripts (javascript) in the index page and removed some, but that should NOT cause such error.
I did access the pure Flash application (.swf): onairtube.com/test/ChatRouletteClone.swf and the Flash Player settings window does not pop up. At the same time, when accessing the Flash application at jabbercam.com, it works fine: http://www.jabbercam.com/chatroulette/JabberCam.swf

I also tried to manually start the camera with no success (right click>>Settings...>> check "Allow" than "Close")...
It seems, you are using a modified release build, there may be an error. Please send me the exact version you are using since I cannot figure it out, you removed the CRC version number.

RE: problem with crc, flash version and mac
It is a Flash Player issue with mac, try the following:

Sometimes Adobe Flash Player has no rights to write data to some folders due to some bug. Fix the write permissions manually and in yo your home folder find both Library/Caches/Adobe and Library/Preferences/Macromedia and delete the Flash Player folder. Reinstall Flash Player

RE: problem with crc, flash version and mac
As I mentioned before, this is a possible issue caused by Adobe Flash Player that affects mostly MAC computers (I had similar issues with 10.1 on a VAIO laptop).

If you're using MAC, try the following:
Uninstall (remove/delete) component files from /Library/QuickTime that are causing the problems with Adobe Flash Player (10.1.x or else). If you have ManyCam or Google Camera Adapter component files, these may not be supported by FP 10.1.x
To remove Google Camera Adapter Open /Library/Application Support/Google folder and run the uninstaller for Google Camera Adapter, you may also try installing the most recent Flash Player by Adobe (they may have a fix included).
