RE: UTF-8 Languages not showing
Make sure you save the file with UTF-8 encoding, use a code editor (Coda, Komodo, EditPlus), simple editors like "notepad" won't work.

RE: UTF-8 Languages not showing
Thanks. I got it fixed. I am wondering if i could set the default loading language to lang_xx.ini rather than using lang_en.ini as the default and let users pick another language.

RE: UTF-8 Languages not showing
in config.xml, set the locale to any language of your preference:

config.xml
Code:
<config>
     <language>en_US</language>

     <serviceURL>../registration.php</serviceURL>
     <configURL>../configuration.php</configURL>
</config>

Pardon me. I don't see any config.xml. However i see

<compiler additionalCompilerArguments="-locale en_US

in .actionScriptProperties

RE: UTF-8 Languages not showing
I also want to change some of the text in config.php to utf8 but once config.php is converted to utf8.. the entire script stops loading.

Please advise.
Thanks.
yeah~ I just got it fixed by converting config.php to utf8 without BOM. Smile

RE: UTF-8 Languages not showing
For others with similar issue, use a code editor that is capable of saving different encodings (Coda, Komodo, EditPlus, ...)
