PHP Integration
I need an RVC Solution for a community website.

The random user needs to be chosen from the local user database based on search criteria specified by the initiating user.

I need to run the service using Red5 rather than Adobe Stratus.

Will I be able to do this customisation entirely in PHP, or will Flash customisation also be required?

I'm a PHP Developer, but my Flash knowledge is limited.

RE: PHP Integration
The RVC has most search criteria integrated: sex, age, language, and two other filters (location, looking for) that can be configured to anything else. Five search criteria, two of them can be changed to anything else.
Now the connections to database are handled by php, if you change the php sample to suit your needs, you won't need a flash programmer.

Is it possible to get a look at the PHP sample before buying?

RE: PHP Integration
Yes thanks.

From what I can see, the standard product comes with a user data base, that the admin ads users to through an admin interface. Correct?

Basically, I'd have to tweak the code/queries so that the selected users come from my DB. Correct?
Also, I've read your website front to back and I still can't figure out the difference between RVC and RVC-S.

The home of your site has a section entitled:

"RVC or RVC-S is best for me?"

But this describes products called RVC-S 0.1 and RVC 5......???

Which would I need to create a random 2 way chat function for users of my website?

The sources you got are the RVC. To see the difference, visit these links:

and these demos:

What is the *technical* difference?

RE: PHP Integration
RVCS uses the latest technology offered by Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and up and does not use any database. All data (userid, etc) is sent over RTMFP and handled by Cirrus.

RVC uses MySQL database and it runs on both Cirrus (RTMFP) and Red5 (RTMP)
