RE: Crash server problem
We tried with 100+ users (Red5 0.8, CentOS, 8CPU, 2Gb RAM - CPU is not relevant) and it worked fine, however the Red5 server was never stable enough, it generated large logs and crashed every 8-24 hours (issue report: http://code.google.com/p/video-chat/issues/detail?id=1 ). RVC 5.0 already has support for backup media server ( http://www.videosoftware.pro/forum/THREA...hlight=3.1 ) that may be useful. I would also try using Red5 1.0+ please note that you'll need to install tomcat (not included with Red5 1.0).
