Audio Bug
Hi,
For some reason, when in a video session, you can only hear the other person's audio when the other person is typing. Example: Person A hears Person B when Person A types and sends a message. It cuts out after a few seconds. Is there a way to fix this? It kind of sucks having to send messages in order for it to start picking up audio. |

RE: Audio Bug
The audio with this technology is not the best yet (great changes are coming with AFP 10.3), it may be a bug, but I am not sure, we are not focusing on audio until it works (we cannot make sure if the issue is caused by the software or the technology): http://www.videosoftware.pro/forum/THREA...ound-RVC-5

RE: Audio Bug
Could it be at all related to the SDK framework that I recompiled the source in? This is the only thing holding me back, so I'd like to know if it's code related or maybe just the way I exported.

RE: Audio Bug
It is not your fault, the internet connection speed is he only factor that comes in mind right now, the software is exactly the same as the one at jabbercam.com if it works there, it should work on your server too (unless the quality is limited by connection speed).

RE: Audio Bug
Interesting. Would that be server connection speed, or the connection speed of the users who are accessing the page?
It's still confusing why it would work when the other person sends a text message, but eh. |

RE: Audio Bug
Please test the same with jabbercam.com (use the connect me to user ID feature from "Settings" to connect to your co-tester). If the same problem exists, please get back.

RE: Audio Bug
I have found the reason for this.
For future users who experience this problem, don't delete your .mp3 files in the Sounds folder. Simply replace them or delete the relevant code when rebuilding. |

RE: Audio Bug
Yes, deleting the sound files will cause several AS errors and may cause different bugs ...
